Who is SpinVox?

SpinVox is a UK-based company specializing in voice-to-screen conversion services. Line1 Communications has teamed up with SpinVox to deliver a unique business voicemail service that enables business customers to read their voicemails.

Who can get the service?

The SpinVox service is available to all existing Line1 customers as well as new customers who are looking for a real visual voicemail messaging experience. The service is available in Florida and throughout the United States.

How do I get the service?

You can sign up for a 1-week free trial through this website or by simply calling Line1 at 866-200-5858. Current Line1 customers should call Line1 to have it added to their existing account.

How much does it cost?

SpinVox from Line1 is available in pre-defined packages based on a set number of conversions for a monthly recurring charge. Once a user exceeds the limit, a per conversion overage charge will be applied. After the free trial, service starts as low as $9.95 per month.

What happens if people leave me messages in other languages?

SpinVox will only convert messages that are left in English or Spanish. If a message is left in another language, then you can just call your voicemail as normal to listen to it.

What happens if people leave their phone number in the message?

SpinVox is extremely accurate when it comes to converting numbers. You will never have to hunt for a pen to write numbers down again! Most smartphones will display a hotlink that will allow you do dial the number simply by clicking on the number.

What happens if my message inbox is full?

Exactly the same as when your normal voicemail box is full. To keep the messages you want, simply move them to your saved folder or delete the messages you don't want. We can adjust many system parameters that will keep your voice mailbox from filling up.

Will I still receive the converted voicemails if I'm traveling abroad?

Yes and the great news is that you won't have to pay the cost of an international call to listen to your voicemail because you can read it.

What length of voicemail message can I read as an email message?

SpinVox will process the original voicemail message and allow you to read the first 480 characters. If this isn't enough for the whole message, then we'll convert as much as we can and then tell you that it's a long message.

What happens if I don't understand the email message?

SpinVox sometimes will use '(?)' which means that the word it is next to has been converted phonetically. Occasionally, if SpinVox can't understand that word at all, then you may see '_____' which means it could not be converted. Of course, you can always call your mailbox to hear the message.

Do I have to have a particular mobile phone model to be on the service?

No. Any email-enabled smartphone is sufficient.

If I delete the converted email message, will I lose the audio message too?

No. The audio messages remain in your new messages Mailbox for up to 15 days.

If I forward the email message to someone, will that person also be able to listen to the audio message, too?

No. Only the email will be forwarded. Your Mailbox cannot be accessed without the correct PIN.

How do I leave the service if I decide I don't want it any more?

Simply contact Line1 Customer Care to have the service disconnected.
